Hi there. I am the Managing Partner at Abstract Edge, the digital agency I co-founded in 1999. Abstract Edge is a highly creative digital consultancy with offices in New York and Baltimore.
I have been working with Internet and database technologies since 1993 and am an expert in content management, web publishing, and online marketing strategies. I have successfully led teams in the creation of online marketing campaigns for major clients in media, entertainment, hospitality, fashion and beauty, consumer packaged goods, finance, e-commerce, and not-for-profit organizations.
My well-known clientele has included major brands like Clairol, Marriott, Loews Hotels, Discover Magazine, Disney, Perrier, Vera Wang, and Atkins Nutritionals, but I am most proud of the successes I have had with not-for-profits and causes such as Million Mom March, American Legacy Foundation, The Gift of New York, and Malaria No More.
I work to help educate my clients on the latest trends in online marketing and the intersection of technology with marketing. This blog is an attempt to further that effort.
I graduated from Brown University in 1995 with a degree in Computer Engineering. After that, I worked for several years at Computer Associates, creating web-based business applications using CA's most cutting-edge technologies and consulting with Fortune 500 companies in the high technology, telecommunications and financial services industries.
I am a sometimes contributor to CMSWire Magazine on content management issues.
I have a deep love for The New York Mets, my wife Sharon, and my daughters Mira and Shoshana (not necessarily in that particular order.)
